Butterfly Release

Today Sarah brought her Monarch butterflies to school to share with the class.  We read a book called A Place for Butterflies and learned some interesting facts about ways to help butterflies.  Early in the afternoon, we gathered outside to watch the butterflies take flight.

We then celebrated filling our 6th bucket with wood chips with playtime in the forest.  Our current PBIS focus for the classroom is following directions right away.  We are also continuing to work on whole body listening and classroom room routines (lining up, transitions from one activity to the next, taking care of materials, etc).
