Mallory Brook Trip

On Tuesday we decided to bring our ECO adventures in doors.  We used tinfoil and counters to explore the concept of sink and float.  These activities provided some of the foundational knowledge for our boat building that took place later in the week.

We wrapped up another busy week with a walking field trip to Mallory Brook.  Luckily the rain held off for the the majority of the day.  There was a slight shower in early afternoon but by that time most of the children were already wet.  Despite the cold temperatures many of the kids enjoyed spending time in the brook.  We also successfully launched all of our boats.
