Gifts for Giving
Tuesday was a busy day filled with creating gifts for others. In the morning, we joined our big buddies at Gifts for Giving. Students created gifts for their families at the various stations staffed by volunteers. Many thanks to all the volunteers that prepared materials for the projects and donated their time and talent to such a wonderful event. Everyone was thrilled with the gifts that they made.Cookies
Tuesday afternoon, we decorated cookies for the East Montpelier Fire Department and Rescue Squad. Thanks to the generous donations of several families, we had enough cookies to make a small plate for each of the related arts teachers, the office staff and the maintenance staff. The class thoroughly enjoyed making treats for so many others. They were quite creative with their frosting and cookie decorations. As a surprise, the Rescue Squad brought the ambulance to pick up their cookies.
