We had a fabulous day for ECO. The weather was beautiful and the sun was shining! Today's ECO coordinated with our current unit on Light and Sound. We played shadow tag and listened to a folk tale about the sun. The students then divided into small groups for a Shadow Scavenger hunt. While hunting for different items, they made some wonderful discoveries and observations about light and shadows. Ask your child about the scavenger hunt. I know my group was thrilled to observe that spider webs didn't create shadows.
