Parent Conferences
It was wonderful to meet with everyone at parent conferences. I enjoyed having the chance to share your child's progress with you. Thank you for taking time to meet with me. If you have any questions or concerns that we did not discuss, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Book Orders
Book Orders were sent home in folders on Monday. They are due back on Monday, November 21st. You may order on-line with our class code ( DPB6G ). You may also order with the flyer. Checks should be made payable to Scholastic Book Clubs. If you are interested in purchasing books without your child knowing, please let me know and I will contact you when the books arrive.
Technology
During technology time we have begun to explore basic programming with our Beebots and a game known as Roboturtles. Both activities are focused on sequencing and directionality (left and right).
Cold Weather Gear
It has gotten chilly when we are outside for recess or E.C.O., it is important that all children have appropriate gear to keep them warm. Please be sure that your child has a winter jacket, snow pants, winter boots, water proof mittens (or gloves) and a hat. If you need help acquiring these items, please let me know. If you have extra items that your child is no longer wearing, please consider donating them to our class. Donated items will be used for those days when things are forgotten or get wet. Items that are too small for our class members will be shared with the kindergarten and preschool teachers.
